The result is showing Team Bath 3 : 2 Hawks Academy

A full report and letter of complaint is being prepared for the league by the Academy management asking for this game to be replayed. In extraordinary circumstances, 2 Hawks were unbelievably red carded with a further two players picking up bizarre yellows, Alex Baldaccino picked up a serious career threatening injury that put him in hospital in Bath which went not just unpunished but unnoticed and with just 8 men on the pitch the Hawks still managed to score a perfectly legitamate goal only for it to be disallowed. However, we have subsequently discovered that one and possibly two of the match officials are employees of Team Bath (University of Bath) - the opposition - and that this conflict of interest was not declared.

The Hawks boys were unbelievably professional in their conduct and I am so proud of their restraint and decorum. The result doesn't matter - the circumstances definitely do! Watch this space.

After reading your write up I feel that I have to respond as apart from the deliberate dangerous tackle being a definite red card that could have caused in itself a career threatening injury and the subsequent red card for the manager who didn't stop abusing the ref from the start of the match until he was sent off. The main query I have is that your the Havant squad conducted itself in a wholly "professional manner", if threatening all and sundry including the ref and spectators who were trying to keep the peace between non playing members of both sides is what you call a professional manner then what happened on the pitch is no surprise at all.
