Hawks to take part in Joma Challenge Cup

The Hawks are set to kick off their pre-season by taking part in the Joma South West Challenge Cup during the week of the 19th July, with confirmation to come in the next week.

The tournament will involve twelve clubs split into four groups with a knockout stage following. Of the twelve, North Devon host clubs Bideford AFC, Ilfracombe Town, Holsworthy AFC and Barnstaple Town will each take a place in a group, with the other two sides comprising of a Southern League Premier / Conference South standard club, and a professional league club, one of which is rumoured to be Leicester City.

Played over the course of a week, the Hawks are likely to be involved in games on the Monday, Wednesday and Friday, with confirmed dates to follow. Further information about the tournament can be found here
