HawkSupport player of the month and quiz night

Before yesterday’s game Hawks supporter Steve Anscombe presented the HawkSupport player of the month award for October to team captain and central defender Tom Jordan.

All Hawks fans are reminded that on Tuesday night in the clubhouse, HawkSupport will be running a quiz night. It promises to be an entertaining evening with question rounds that will include music, films, sport, TV Soaps, a mind boggling picture quiz, and of course a round based on the Hawks.

Entry costs will be £2 for HawkSuppport members and £3 non-members, made up of teams to a maximum of 5 people. There are a selection of prizes for the winners, and the mandatory wooden spoon for the lowest scorers.

After the success of the curry provided for the forum evening, expert chef Kevin Moore has been enlisted again and will this time be supplying Chilli jacket potatoes during the interval, the cost of which is included in the entry price. The event will start at 7.30pm.
